Join us for a relaxing lunchtime at Sunday Jazz at the Square, a weekly live music series showcasing the next generation of local jazz talent. Kicking off on Sunday, May 17, the jazz music will run every Sunday from Noon to 2PM through July 26.

Each week, The Zach Sorkin Quartet, a dynamic young ensemble, will perform an assortment of jazz tunes. The group features:

Zach Sorkin, drummer, a Niles North alum and sophomore at Berklee College of Music
Miriam Goroff-Behel, alto saxophonist, a New Trier grad and currently a freshman at The Juilliard School
Connor Sullivan, bassist, a DePaul University senior who’s an active gigging musician in Evanston and Chicago
OTHER BAND MEMBER TBD

In addition to the core quartet, each week will feature guest appearances by members of the ETHS Jazz Band and musicians from The Butcher Boy School of Music in Evanston, adding even more local flavor to the mix.

While admission is free, tips are appreciated to help support these talented young musicians. Read the Evanston Now article about the 2025 Sunday Jazz at the Square.
