Free Trolley Rides!

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 11AM - 3PM
--------------------------------------

The Main-Dempster Mile and Downtown Evanston are excited to announce the return of the FREE Holiday Trolley between the two business districts during Small Business Saturday on November 29! From 11AM - 3PM, you can take your kids, grand-kids, or just yourself on a festive holiday trolley ride from Main Street, to Dempster Street, to Downtown Evanston and back. The free trolley will make a number of stops along the way (SEE BELOW) so that you can hop off to do some shopping and grab a quick bite to eat! Then, hop back on the next trolley to complete the loop and return to your starting point.

While you're taking the trolley, be sure to say hello to our special Elf on the Shelf who'll be interacting with riders, and taking photo ops at some of the stops!

A special thanks to Northwestern Community Relations for sponsoring the 2025 Small Business Saturday Holiday Trolley, and for supporting Evanston’s local businesses!
