2026 Trick or Treat Stroll

In celebration of Halloween, bring your kids to Downtown Evanston on Saturday, October 24, 2-4PM for trick-or-treating at local businesses! Stroll around Downtown at your own pace, and stop in at participating businesses for candy and other Halloween goodies. Meet up at Fountain Square (the plaza north of Davis Street) to pick up your official Trick-or-Treat Stroll map, take some photos in front of our Fall-themed backdrop, and get started on your stroll. The trick-or-treating is free, and fun and creative costumes are encouraged!

Please note that not all businesses are participating in this event, so be sure to look for the Trick or Treat posters on the windows or doors. Some businesses may also have candy outside.
