2026 Thursday Night Markets

Now entering its 8th year, Downtown Evanston's Thursday Night Markets showcase artists, makers, and retailers from the regional community. The 2026 market dates are June 11, July 9, August 6, and September 3, from 5-8PM on the south plaza at Fountain Square (due to construction, the June 11 market will be on the north plaza). Each of the Thursday Night Markets will feature approximately 25 vendors with a wide range of items for sale. It's free to stroll the market, and we invite you to engage the vendors to learn more about their businesses and the items they have for sale. Be sure to also stop by the Downtown Evanston tent to sign up for our e-newsletter and register for your chance to win a $50 Evanston E-Gift Card!

The July 9, August 6 and September 3 markets are presented in conjunction with our Downtown Summer Sounds concert series, where there will also be live music, food trucks, adult beverages, dancing, and children's art activities. After the markets and music end at 8PM, be sure to make plans for dinner in Downtown Evanston.
