Where’s Waldo? In Downtown Evanston, of course!
The famous children’s book character in the striped shirt and black-rimmed specs is visiting local businesses in Downtown Evanston this July. Stop by any one of the local businesses listed below to pick up a Waldo Passport and start your hunt in Downtown Evanston!
You can also download the Waldo Passport here and start at any business!

Once you get a passport, get it stamped or signed at each Waldo spot you visit. Collecting store stamps or signatures from twenty or more businesses will entitle diligent Waldo seekers entry into a grand-prize drawing at the celebration party at Bookends & Beginnings on Saturday, August 3, from 3-4PM. Turn in your stamped passports to Bookends & Beginnings located at 1620 Orrington Avenue by August 3 at 12PM to be entered in the raffle. The event is free and is a great way to explore Downtown Evanston's local retail shops!

This event is hosted by Bookends & Beginnings and Downtown Evanston, and is part of a nationwide “Shop Local” event
co-sponsored by Candlewick Press and the American Booksellers Association.
