It’s no surprise that burgers are one of Americans’ most loved foods, ranking 8th out of nearly 4,000 foods and beverages. Good news is that we've got them on almost every block in our downtown district!

If you’re looking for the classic burger, fry, shake trio, Edzo’s is your place! It’s got a great retro vibe and they offer 11 different styles of fries, plus dogs, brats and patty melts. Find them at 1571 Sherman Ave. right across from Fountain Square.

If you have a group that has different dietary needs including vegetarian and kosher, head to Epic Burger at 1622 Sherman Ave. They offer Beyond, garden, turkey or a triple stack in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Rooftop with games, burgers and beer? Yep, we’ve got that at Five & Dime! And, you can rent the space for gatherings or check out the two other restaurants in the same building.

Plaid, brass and glass with a side of John Hughes’ movie vibes are what you’ll find at The Graduate Homestead Room. And, they've got a delicious Homestead Burger with Roasted Tomato Aioli, Truffle Cheese, Pickles, Homestead Fries with a secret sauce. The Homestead Room is inside The Graduate Hotel at 1625 Hinman Ave. 

How about a burger with a Tex Mex flair? Our downtown has a Chili’s! They have 11 styles of burgers and don’t forget their famous margaritas!

10oz burgers are king at Bat 17! With 16 styles of burgers, from spicy to black and bleu or with an egg on it, you will find the perfect burger for you! Bonus, it’s a great spot to catch a Wildcats game. Go NU!

Every neighborhood should have that quintessential corner tavern with genuine friendly service (cue: Cheers) and that is what Ridgeville Tavern brings to downtown Evanston! Better yet, it’s actually located on a corner with views of our fountain square area. They offer a classic burger, turkey or garden and they are located at 1520 Sherman Ave.

Cupitol is a sleek, minimalist eatery serving up BBQ, cheese and falafel burgers. Their classic cocktails are also a hit, probably because they call them “All Day Cocktails!"

Last but not least, Evanston's steakhouse, The Barn, serves up a heritage sirloin burger with Boursin cheese, grilled onion, lettuce, tomato on a brioche bun. Feeling hungry?
