Save the date for the 5th annual Evanston Oktoberfest on Sunday, September 29, 12pm to 6pm! Come out with friends and family to enjoy an afternoon of beer tasting, delicious local food, live music and traditional Oktoberfest fun!
Entertainment features a DJ starting at noon followed by a traditional German band, Die Musikmeisters, and local American band Railheart. Plus, there will be traditional German dancers, a steinholding contest, costume contest, tricycle racing, arts and crafts and more!
Held at the Evanston Farmers Market location (intersection of Oak Ave. and University Place), you can sample more than 40 different styles of craft beer and hard cider from favorite Evanston breweries--Smylie Brothers, Temperance, Sketchbook, Peckish Pig--and several Chicago and North Shore breweries. Tickets will be available soon at evanstonoktoberfest.com.
The tickets not only get you access to great craft beer, a commemorative tasting glass, and live music, but you also get to raise your glass and support a fantastic non-profit organization -- Downtown Evanston works year round to keep downtown vibrant, fun and thriving!
New this year, EvanstonMade is hosting a Maker's Market next door at the 1800 Maple Garage. 100 plus local artists will have booths on the 5th floor so festival attendees can go shop during the fest! Admission to the Maker's Market is $5 and sold separately from Oktoberfest tickets.
Special thanks to the sponsors of the 5th annual Evanston Oktoberfest, including our presenting sponsor, Byline Bank!
