We’ve been handed a year full of lemons, but downtown Evanston is turning them into lemonade! The Make Lemonade installation—running from October 15 to November 15—will bring color, positivity, and play to downtown with the goal of encouraging continued support of the small businesses that make Evanston a thriving destination and an amazing place to live.
Keep your eyes peeled for lemon themed activations around downtown include doors adorned with lemon stickers and three public hot spot installations that feature inspirational quotes, interactive play areas, art installations, and opportunities for passersby to view artists doing their thing.
An
Eventzee scavenger hunt will entice people to explore downtown, take pictures, and win prizes, all while contributing to a community “shop local ” campaign campaign. Residents, businesses, and visitors can track their own success through the Eventzee app and the success of the shop local campaign through the Make Lemonade Pitcher hung in the heart of downtown at 1704 Sherman Ave. (former Gap location).
