Get Fit with Downtown Evanston this summer! We are excited to announce a series of free fitness classes at the new Fountain Square plaza. The classes will take place on Fridays starting June 15 through August 24. Get Fit Fridays will showcase health and fitness businesses in downtown Evanston and provide free, fun, and healthy activities for all! 

Please note that you must reserve a spot at each class and that some of the events require additional information and/or a waiver prior to the class. 

June 22 at 5pm - Grateful Yoga for All 
Finish the week with an outdoor yoga class led by Nick and Lela Beem, owners Grateful Yoga. Release the stress and tension of your work week with 45 minutes of yoga. Come experience Grateful Yoga's mindful approach to practice that welcomes all ages and abilities. There are 20 mats available on a first come basis. Please arrive 4:45pm to sign a waiver. Sign up here.

June 29 at 8:00am and 3:30pm - The Barre Code 
The Barre Code classes fuse cardio, strength training and restoration. Try out an introductory class at 8am or 3:30pm. Please note that mats are required. 

July 13 at 8:00am - NutrisultsFit POUND Class
POUND is a full-body, cardio workout that uses ripsticks (light-weight drumsticks) to transform drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Nutrisults owner and certified Pound instructor, Mishra Keller, will help you unleash your inner rockstar at a free POUND class at 8am. Pound sticks provided but mats required. Sign up here!

July 13 at 4:00pm - Dance Is My Everyting (D.I.M.E.) Class
Let loose and learn new dance moves from Marcus Brown, founder of D.I.M.E. Marcus will lead an hour-long hip hop dance class at Fountain Square. Event is for kids, teens, and adults -- bring the whole family!

July 20 at 8:00am and 5:00pm - QnA Fitness Class 
The wait is over! Join QnA fitness for some addictively fun, sweaty fitness! We will lead you through a 20 minute dynamic sweaty full body strength class that will challenge muscles and mind. We will flow right into a 25 minute power all levels vinyasa class that will allow you to surrender and find your PWR. Get ready to sweat and enjoy your summer routine with QnA fitness. August 24 at 4:00pm - NutrisultsFit Generation POUND Class
