August 3 at 7:45am - Title Boxing Club Technical Class
Kick off Friday at a 45-minute Technical Boxing class with Coach Cleveland Hughes of Title Boxing Club Evanston. You will learn the foundations of boxing and will train with Cleveland using boxing gloves. Please note that the class instruction is free but you have to purchase wraps for $10 (cash only). Class is limited to 6 people so you can get a personal attention from Cleveland. Please arrive 7:30am to sign a waiver. Sign up here.
August 17 at 7:30am - SPENGA
REP / REVIVE Class with SPENGA Evanston! Join SPENGA for a 40-minute workout--20 minutes of circuit-style strength training and 20 minutes of revitalizing yoga! The first 20 minutes focus on building strength, lean muscle and high calorie burn during which your heart rate remains elevated and you’re pushing your muscles toward exhaustion. The workout finishes with 20-minutes of yoga, a combination of static, flowing and repetitive movements builds strength and increases body awareness to improve alignment, posture and joint stability. The Generation POUND class is specifically designed for kids, but adults are welcome, too! Nutrisults owner and certified Pound instructor, Mishra Keller, will help you unleash your inner rockstar at a free POUND class at 4pm. Pound sticks provided but mats required. Sign up here!
